Journal of Professional Development in KSA

The journal of professional development in KSA has been published for several years. It aims to improve teachers’ professional growth through training, workshops, and seminars. Reflective practitioners engage in discussions about their work. They take note of their experience and apply it to their practice. It is a crucial element for school improvement. The following section analyses the state of science education in KSA. The last section identifies the needs of teachers. It aims to provide recommendations for curriculum development. Its authors highlight the importance of professional development in education in Saudi Arabia.

The second section of the article discusses the implementation of the science curriculum in the Kingdom. There is a need for continuing professional development in the Kingdom, which will increase the quality of teaching and learning in the kingdom. In addition, various researchers in the Kingdom evaluated the impact of professional development on learning and teaching. Similarly, they cited the research in Saudi Arabia as a model for further research.

A recent study by the National Staff Development Council for Professional Development Education in KSA examined the impact of continuing professional development programs on staff and students. The results of this study indicated that the effect of continuing professional development in KSA was positive. Moreover, the research highlighted the importance of ongoing professional development in the education of KSA. The research was accompanied by several other studies, including a survey of teachers. As a result, the National Staff-District of Kuwait (NSAC) has revised its standards for staff development in the region.
